| I bought the new Dar Williams album on iTunes recently. Tonight, when I was moving the plants in, the iPod hit me with this song. A powerful message, and in the great American Folk tradition, at just the right time. "For every five tanks, plant a sentimental story." |

| The Get Your Bootleg On Site is fun. Mash-ups and bootlegs on parade. I found some good stuff, but it can take a while to sort through all the techno-disco-dance remixes to find the really funny or good ones. |

| The Big Boys started out as one of the best punk bands ever, and kept growing musically to the end. If I had to pick, I guess The Fat Elvis (iTunes) compilation edges out the Skinny Elvis (iTunes). Sound On Sound is great Big Boys site. I also greatly enjoyed singer Biscuit's (RIP) later projects, Swine King (iTunes) and Cargo Cult (iTunes) and like what I've heard from Guitarist Tim Kerr but I haven't lived long enough to have heard everything. |
